If we are His workmanship, built up in Him, let us therefore be His own wife, the church, His body.
We being made subject to Him, do trust Him that His purpose and will will be done in our sight, in our hearing and that we might rejoice in Him. Therefore let us always behold Him who is the head, and honor Him. Let our bosom be His place of rest.
A New Heaven and a New Earth
1And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Several years ago, I had asked the Lord to show me Himself. I was commanded to get up.
I had been laying in my bed, it was about midnight, and I resisted. I looked for some apparition, some angelic being, some thing that I could see with my eyes. I saw none, but persisted that I was in bed for the night. That I was, essentially, down for the night. He persisted and got angry. “Stand up!” I had been foolish many times before. I got up. He told me to open my Bible and read. I went to the living room and asked what portion He wanted me to read, all the while thinking that I was probably not hearing right. I had never been good at Scripture reading or looking things up. I was in all ways inept. He told me to read a portion that led to another and to another, and He spoke with me. He took me out of myself and washed me. He began to make me a new creation.
He taught me and brought me through many trials and tribulations to shew me Himself and His Salvation. He taught me His prophecy of what was to come, and I saw it. My flesh was so weak, but He was strengthening me. He showed me all of the teachings of man that had falsified the Word of God, and showed me the truth. He took me through things that had bound me to prison and to judgement and showed me the truth about them in such a way that it didn’t hurt, but cleansed me and set me free from those things that were the enemies of my soul. That had kept me full of fear. Now I was given the reference John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
He showed me many of His other witnesses that had been through similar things which I went through during this time, and Paul specifically. Suddenly I knew that I understood more than my teachers. And He showed it to me by giving me the reference Psalm 119:100 which says: I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.
Colossians 2:7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
Purpose and Concluding Remarks
13These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 14And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
16If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. 17All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
18We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. 19And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. 20And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
21Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
John 12: 23And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. 24Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. 25He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. 26If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will myFather honour.
It is by God’s Word and prophecy fulfilled that the Son is glorified in the Father. Jesus is the standard by which all things are measured. If he then, being made as a man, was able to glorify God and to live unto Him, then we that have been sanctified are also His and are glorified together with Him when we prove by our love, word and standard that which He has shown us and conformed us to be, that is in his likeness. That we may be like him, and follow his steps.
Many will say that they need to go to where he was, but he said that he would go and prepare a place for us that he might come and receive us unto himself. This is not a physical place. For God is spirit. He is not man, therefore when he speaks, and when his word is caused to be remembered, and when we speak his word faithfully, we are glorified. Moses, on the Mount, when he received the laws written in stone, was glorified. Because he heard and understood God, not because he was taken somewhere else, that is to another land or some other state of mind. God through his word washed and cleansed him that he might hear God, that he might do the works he had been sent to do. We like Moses and Abraham have been called and chosen by God to do the same works, that we might believe him and be sanctified by Him.
We have heard that there have been many that have come in Jesus name, and in his likeness that it might nullify the diety of Jesus. But Jesus is the only one that can lead us to the true God. We, like him must do even as he set an example and enables us to do. Are we stronger than him? In no wise. If we are in him, and have been taught by him, and have sought him, his kingdom and his righteousness, if we have done that which he told us to do, honoring him, he teaches us all things and will manifest himself to us.
There are many writings of the word of Jesus that destroy the thoughts and intents of the heart, that is if we are those which do believe on him and trust him at all times. We are only able to do this when we no longer are self sufficient, but give God Glory in everything. Then are we holy. He has spoken from heaven, and we did hear him, and abode with him there in him.
What is it to be in him?
It is to rest in his word which by his Holy Spirit is shed upon us, translating us from one perception to his perception. When we wonder if he is doing this or that for the ones we love, when we ask him to do something that is according to his will, he tells us of it and what the result of the thing is. And what is the perfect will of God? We must seek this for our own. We cannot tell one this and another that, except the Lord show us the way.
What if he were to tell us that we are being used in such a way that goes against everything we have ever known? What is his answer? Jesus answers this in John 12:24-26. If we then therefore lay down our life for him, as he also did for us, then we will learn to do the same for our brethren, for we are to love one another.
Good morning. As I awoke this morning, I was given many references to what I sent to the son of my womb. Colossians 3:10, Ephesians 4:22, Isaiah 3:22 (whole chapter: referred to what happened in our family), Psalm 95-97, Colossians 3:23 (whole chapter).
I sent these references to my son by text early this morning immediately following the Lord showing me His word written in Colossians 3:23.
Yesterday, the Lord was building on the foundation of my heart the teaching that I must give to my children. That the words written and spoken to my son previously had not been regarded. That I needed to tell him of some of the reasons as to why things happened in our family were the result of not heeding God’s Word, and walking in a way that was not good. That our family went through a great deal of hardship and division as a result of our doing things and saying things that were not right in the sight of God.
I told him that because God chose me, I was able to seek Him at a time in which He could be found. I asked Him a great many things and He answered. He showed me a great many things, so that I could understand. He taught me. Jesus taught me, as the truth is in Jesus. He hid me from danger and kept me.
I then did my morning duties and as I was making my bed, I was singing in my heart “Thy loving kindness is better than life
Thy loving kindness is better than life
My lips shall praise Thee
Thus will I bless Thee
I will lift up my hands unto Thy name”
I literally lifted my hands as I sang aloud the last line….
IMMEDIATELY, I knew what that meant through the filter of God’s Word in Colossians 3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men
That by my actions and confession of the words of my mouth, I had indeed blessed the Lord, had praised Him with my lips as I had told these things to David.
The first cup that is taken at the beginning of the observance (of the Passover Dinner) is often called the “Cup of Blessing or Sanctification.” It refers to the phrase “I will bring you out.” God promises to separate them from Egypt, which also pictures sanctification in being separated from our sin. Just before the meal the second cup is taken, which is called by some the “Cup of Praise,” giving praise to God for His promise, “I will deliver you from bondage.” After the meal all participants partake of the third cup, which is called “Cup of Redemption.” At the Last Supper, Jesus referred to this third cup in Matthew 26:28: “For this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.: This is the cup that we as Christians partake of at communion. We have been partaking of the third cup!
The fourth cup taken at the end of the observance is commonly called the “Cup of the Kingdom.” I noticed that Jesus made a change in the Seder, which He observed as the Last Supper. He apparently refrained from drinking from the fourth cup, We read in Matthew 26:29: “But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from ow on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.”
It became obvious that Jesus did not want to drink of the fourth cup because everything He did was to fulfil prophecy. Since the kingdom was not yet to established…

Alive in Christ
But let us take heed:
Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. Colossians 2:17 (&
more in depth: Colossians 2:6 -23)
Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do. 1 Timothy 1:4
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2
She is complete and entire, lacking nothing. Her desires are aligned with her Husbands, and she seeks his pleasure. She is most charitable, loving, kind, gentle, easy to be entreated, and works diligently. She hopes for and pursues peace. She abides in her Husband and his sayings abide in her. She is his extension, his arm. When she is strong, it is for his benefit. When she is weak, it is for his benefit.
Only in Christ are we justified through faith. We may not have had all of the correct teaching to ensure a perfect life in this world. Our teachers and fathers may not have looked to God to guide and teach us. They may have gotten lost, or worse, refused to listen and obey God. He says that He tells them and guides them, but that they don’t listen. And we are the benefactors of their actions. This may be a generational problem that needs us to go to the throne of grace for help and the grace and help in our time of need. They may have been given the wrong teachings themselves, and thought that these well learned men, although with some were good intentions, were led into the perverting of the Gospel of Christ, therefore putting a stumbling block in our way. Some were called to be faithful, and with the best intentions, worked diligently to be who they thought they were supposed to be in this world, and to do those things which they thought were right. But many have changed the Word of God into a lie, and do not the Truth.
So what if your husband is one that seems to know a lot about God, and has many of the fruits of the Spirit, but when put to the test, fails? What if our Husband denies the truth when we present it to him? What if he begins a dialogue of his amazing knowledge and how we are wrong about everything, and starts to rail on us? And what if while this is happening, we are seeking God? We are told that we are to succour them, to restore such an one in meekness. What if we can’t? What if we don’t have the necessary experience and training. What if we also deny Christ, and fulfil our own lust of the flesh by defending ourselves? By yelling, and slamming doors, by throwing our weight around? Isn’t that the most natural thing to do? Of course it is! Isn’t that what the world tells us to do? What if the pain gets so bad that there seems to be nothing we can do right? What if we lose all hope and are filled with anger and fear all of the time? What is our sorrow overwhelms us to the point where we seek no longer to fulfil our oath, but to be saved from the wretchedness and evil?
That is where God comes in. He is our only Salvation.
We are to go to God for His guidance and truth.
We must first seek the Lord and His Righteousness. He will wash us and cleanse us by the washing of the water of His Word, that we may be blameless, without spot or wrinkle.
We may find ourselves going through trials and tribulations that lead us to question the very things that have shaped our lives. But take heart, this is not the end. That the trial of your faith may produce in you the hope of Salvation, making you that you would be able to do the things that you indeed wanted to do from the very beginning. And even then, you may not be approved of by your loved ones, but if you have the approval of God, it is He that will keep you and be your Husband.
And the Holy Scriptures, do they not teach us this also?
There are many teachers who have made this known in our Bible. We need only to look to God, who is faithful and just to teach us and transform us so that we might be what and who God intends. To understand the truth and to mortify the deeds of the flesh, that we might be filled with His righteousness and hope in God. That we should know God and His ways.
Let us therefore be faithful and put our hope and trust in God.
In Psalm 119, we read the account of one who knew that he was in need of God, in all things. He teaches us through the Scripture of those things that intend to keep us from doing all that God has taught us to do, but that in humble prayer and worship, we might come to God continually for to understand and follow Him. To walk not as other men, in the vanity of their own minds, but in the constant fellowship with God, loving Him above all else.
Is there any that shall understand these things, and make them known? God is searching the reins and intents of the hearts. Shall a man/woman/child put his trust in God, who is a just God and knows all things? Have you sought Him with all your heart? Do you know how to do this? Are you distracted by the things of this life, the business of this life? What is your life, but a vapour? Is not our very existence determined by God. How can we be sure what it is that He wants us to do?
Only God has the answers. He made you to be inhabited. He did not call you in vain. If you believe God, and His truth, then you are indeed justified by Him, and washed by His Word.
A few years ago, I found myself in a quandary about life and circumstance. I asked God, “Why is this happening to me?” He began to show me. He said, “Look up, for your redemption draweth nigh.”
He told me to read Job 31.
I found there many reasons for my then present circumstances. I sought Him more and more. I sought the answers to the questions that began to flow from me. He spoke with me more and more. I sought others that He might have been showing the same things that He was showing me. I became very depressed as I saw how the actions of others had infected my life and direction. I sought for comfort. As it was my habit, I sought that comfort in others. I hoped for it. And as I lifted up my head, I found my comfort, not in the things that surrounded me, but in the comfort of the Scriptures.
I had been looking at the wrong things. I was judging the things I saw through the lens of man. But more and more, as I was taught by Jesus, I found myself in Him, and He in me. I was taught to see and judge according to His Holy Spirit in me, who taught me the truth.
I saw descriptions in the Old and in the New Testament of what was happening around me. One day, the Lord told me to read a portion of Scripture in Isaiah regarding the Egyptians fighting against one another.
I didn’t know what the Lord was trying to tell me, or why. Later that day, He told me to turn on the TV and watch The National. http://www.cbc.ca/news/thenational
A story emerged on the screen: The Egyptians were rioting and fighting with one another! My jaw dropped open, and I gasped. I asked God, “Why did you show that to me?” His answer was this, “Because you are my friend.” I could feel His deep sorrow!
I later found this same expression of God’s Word happening in my own home. I was devastated. I lost all hope for a moment.
My experience was incredibly difficult, and I found that I was identifying with the writings of the Prophets and the Apostles. I found my hope in God. I found myself wrapped and hidden in Him. I found my hiding place, so that I could say, “God is my helper.”
I found that no matter what I saw or experienced, the revelation of God’s love and protection for me overshadowed it, even as the holy prophets and apostles taught, and as Tertius confirmed in Romans.
Now, as I seek His will in all things, I pray continually for the grace of God to come unto you, who by faith, have turned to Him. May His peace be with you and may you be multiplied. Amen
Hebrews 12:2 (KJV)
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
As I search for the way in which I might do as He commands, this morning, I find myself looking to others for inspiration, as though He is not enough. But I seek Him, and He indeed fills me with His Word and His Truth. He is the way, the truth, and the life. He is all that any one needs.
Commit thy ways unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.
My desire is this, that all men should come to the truth. That the love of God would be in them, and that they would walk in the truth. Not speaking their own words, but in consecration unto God, in holiness, might be able to grasp what is the height, and the depth, and the breadth of the love which he has toward all those that believe. I have not written these words to condemn you, but beloved, I warn you. Do not walk as other men, in the vanity of their minds. Quit ye as men. Be strong. For hath not God made the things of this world come to nought? Be ye as little children and receive the word in meekness. Love not the world, neither the things of the world, for your life is in Christ. Seek those things which are above, and not beneath. Be not afraid of men. For what is your life, but a vapour that passeth away. But if you love, then this which God has created in you shall live, and you shall abide forever. If the words of Christ shall abide in you, you shall live, but if you seek to bite and devour one another, how shall the love of God dwell in you? Put away therefore all malice, and envyings, and strife. And walk as children of light, that ye may not stumble, but that you might comprehend the love of God and His saints. Put away lying and speak truth to your neighbour. Let not wrath be in you, but as dear children, grow up in Him in love. Have fervent charity among yourselves, for with it, shall ye cover a multitude of sins. Be piteous, be courteous, and the love of God shall abound yet more and more as ye see see the day approaching. And the God of truth shall be with you, and be in you more and more. And you shall see him face to face. Turn thou now to him who is the author and finisher of our faith, that we might all come to the knowledge of Him that is true, and turn from idols, to the living God, which is in all meekness and sincerity of the truth. Having your loins girt about with truth, that you may grow up into him, which is the head.
